Cafe Centro* 200 Park Avenue (next to Grand Central Station) USA New York, NY (212) 818-1222 Cafe Centro is a lively and bold French "grand" cafe adjoining Grand Central Station. They feature fresh seafood, including an excellent raw bar. (Of course, the best Oysters were from Wellfleet, MA.) The Mussel "Provencales" were excellent and some sopping-up of the rich, white-wine sauce with bread was essential. Also terrific grilled fare - particularly the steaks. The french fries aren't quite up to Parisian standards but that's a minor point. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Lively after-work bar scene, too.
