Bubble Lounge, The 228 W Broadway bet No Moore & Franklin St USA New York, NY (212) 431-3433 This swanky lounge in the Tribeca area is cozy and classy, with exposed brick, flickering candlelight, and couches rather than chairs. As the name suggests, they specialize in champagne, and offer more bottles, and service by the glass, than any place we've yet seen. The Dom Perignon '92 ($24 a glass) is delicious, but there's much better available: the Salon "Les Misnet" ($35 a glass) was our favorite. They also have a full bar and excellent appetizers, including Petrossian Caviar, unbelievable chocolate fondues, and other tidbits. One particularly nice touch: they keep the music moderate, so you can talk. (We haven't visited the sister lounge, Flute, at midtown, but it should be similar.)
