Amazing service! This place oozes old world charm. There is plenty of space around the tables and the thick carpet keeps the noise to a minimum. The summer sampler (salmon pate with mandarin oranges, seared tuna, beef tenderloin, cheese platter and a chocolate cake) was outstanding. A tuna and spinach roulade on lentil salad, roasted sea bass with baby bok choy and rice fritters covered with sesame and poppy seeds was equally delicious. The chocolate souffle was on par with Olive's vanilla bean souffle - perhaps our favorite dessert anywhere. First restaurant in Boston to receive a 5 Star Rating from AAA in 1981.
